Brad QuinlinTour Guide
Brad Quinlin has been married for 33 years and has two sons and two grandsons. He is from Massachusetts but has lived in the Atlanta area since 1982. Brad spent 21 years in the grocery business and 17 years in the vending business before opening his own research company and working for the Historic Marietta Trolley Co.
With his move to the south his interest in the American Civil War grew, and he has been a student and scholar of that era of American History for 30 years. He has been a living historian, and volunteer at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield for 20 years, logging almost 10,000 volunteer hours.
Brad assisted Lynne Cheney, Vice President Dick Cheney’s wife, with two chapters of her book Blue, Skies, No Fences and has written two books of his own. The first book is called Duty Well Performed, History of the 21st Ohio Infantry and Remembering, A Tour of the Marietta National Cemetery. Brad also writes for the Ohio Civil War Journal and is on their Board of Experts. |

Audrey GriffiesTour Guide
A native Georgian, Audrey has lived in Marietta and Cobb County since 1968. She attended both Young Harris College and the University of Georgia prior to obtaining a B. A. in English from Kennesaw State University with a minor in History. She served as the Public Information Officer for the City of Marietta for 20 years. Also a freelance writer, she is a former book reviewer for the Atlanta Journal and Constitution and her work has appeared in various local, regional and national publications.
Active in community and civic organizations, she is a former Rotarian and a graduate of Leadership Cobb. She serves on the Cobb County Library Foundation and is a member of the Fielding Lewis Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She lives in West Cobb with her husband of 43 years. They have two grown daughters and three grandsons. |

Charlie Webb Jr.Conductor
Charlie Webb Jr. resides in Woodstock, GA with his wife Mrs. Etta Webb of 18 years. He has 2 sons, 1 daughter, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great- grand child. He worked in the Transportation Department at Lockheed for 40 years and was head of transportation for 25 of those years. He drove the Canton trolley for 3 years prior to becoming a Conductor with the Historic Marietta Trolley Co. His background in transportation has given him experience driving everything from the tugs used by Lockheed to move their planes around to limos and buses.
As a young man, Charlie had several jobs around the Marietta Square and has seen many changes in the Square in his lifetime. While growing up he had a job as a chauffer and at a car dealership just off the Square. Although he is not a tour guide, he has many stories of his own to share about the growth of Marietta.
Charlie takes pride in his driving, as safety is a top priority for him. You can bet if Lockheed trusts him to move their multi-million dollar planes around, you are in great hands with Charlie behind the wheel. |

Kathleen JonesConductor
Kathleen Jones has been a conductor with the Historic Marietta Trolley Co. since the company was founded in April 2008. She is currently a Cobb County School bus driver with over 13 years experience in transportation. Kathleen enjoys traveling and has guided and booked many tours both domestically and internationally through her travel agency. Being a world traveler, she is fond of world history, other cultures, and meeting people throughout the world. |

Melanie RichardsonSpecial Events Coordinator
Melanie Richardson, originally a native of Nashville Tennessee, has called Marietta home for the past 7 years. Currently a third grade teacher in the Cobb County school system teaching at Argyle Elementary, Melanie recently completed her Educational Doctoral Specialist degree in Leadership. Her plan is to continue in education here in Cobb County as an Assistant Principal.
Joining the Historic Marietta Trolley Co. in its first year, Melanie serves as the Special Events Coordinator helping to organize charters and group tours. She thoroughly enjoys working with the student field trip tours, which provide local schools a chance to learn about the history of Marietta through an exceptional narrated trolley tour. Melanie was essential in developing a map and study guide for the students.
Away from teaching, Melanie enjoys both foreign and domestic travel, as well as spending quality time with family and friends. |
